WELCOME
As a first priority, I attempt to acquaint myself with my clients to understand their specific needs.  I apply that understanding to my knowledge of the current real estate market.  Professionalism, honesty and due diligence are instilled in everything I do to ensure that my client's expectations are met or exceeded.

In addition to standard real estate transactions, I have extensive experience representing both buyers and sellers in cash purchases, foreclosures and short sales as well as dealing with bank and IRS liens, probate issues and multi family negotiations.  I can also help buyers understand the specific requirements of VA and FHA financing and help sellers sub-dividing properties or navigating county requirements and regulations to develop land.  In all cases, I place my clients’ interests at the forefront, whether they are first time home buyers/sellers or experienced investors.
PROFESSIONAL BACKROUND

My career in real estate began in 2003 working for a nationwide real estate network in Irvine, California as an Area Manager.  I developed relationships with real estate brokers, developers, property management companies and lenders on local, nationwide and international levels.  I produced marketing plans and presentations for this network of 50,000 investors.  I was also responsible for personnel hiring and created the company’s first HR department and employee manual.  Furthermore, I assisted upper management with the purchase of new corporate headquarters, the move in, and the executive leasing of surplus suites.

My previous 15 years engaged me in the field of architecture and interior design with experience as a Design & Management Consultant working for firms such as Boeing, Lexus, Grand Sheraton Ballroom at Universal Studio and the Marriott Resort at Coronado Island.  I received Certificates of Appreciation from Boeing in 1995 & 1998.  At Lexus Corporate, I was responsible for the architectural and design plan reviews for all U.S. dealerships for which I received a Certificate of Acknowledgement in 2001.  My corporate background provided me with a formative foundation in budget implementation, contract execution, demographics, planning, team building and time management.

PERSONAL NOTE

I come from a large family of ten and was raised with strong faith and family values.  My loving husband supports me in everything I do.  We love foreign travel and experiencing different cultures, their food, architecture and art. We moved to Texas in 2011 and purchased our home in Bastrop just weeks before the fire swept through our neighborhood.  Two of our sheds burned down along with most of our beautiful trees but, miraculously, our home was spared.  Having been through the fire and its aftermath, we share a common bond with our neighbors and have a great sense of pride in our community’s rebuilding efforts and outreach.  From our loss of trees, we built a retaining wall along our driveway and three raised vegetable garden beds from our cedar logs and milled some of our scorched loblolly pines into lumber for future construction projects.  Since our property is now “open,” we fenced it and planted many trees and now with the wetter weather, many young trees are popping up everywhere.  My husband and I also own a local business; Bastrop Blinds Shutters & Drapes, specializing in custom window treatments.  Please click <www.bastropblinds.com>.for more information.

All of my prior experience and current abilities are complemented by the excellence of RE/MAX.  I take pride in the responsibility with which I am entrusted and will strive to make my clients’ real estate objectives and dreams come true.
